Plant Medicine and Integrated Wellness
A Wellness Retreat: Plant Medicine, Meditation and Yoga for Rooted Living
with Irischa Valentin and Caro
Plants are natures alchemist, forming complex healing tools from water, sunlight and carbon dioxide. From Dandelion Root to Nettle, from Aloe to Chamomile, we have all used plants to promote ease and wellness in our daily lives. Join Irischa Valentin and Caro for a peaceful exploration into the power of common backyard plants known to heal, ground and align our minds, bodies, and spirits.
This Full Day Retreat at Pakeen Farm explores plant medicine that supports rooted and grounded well-being. An introduction to root, leaf, tea and tincture will take a deeper look into seasonal backyard plants that support lymph and immune function, cleansing and cooling the body to create a tranquil physical seat in which the mind can rest. These natural tools support healthy rhythms of change, allowing the organism to 'root down to rise up', and experience a sense of anchored health for wise thought and authentic action.
